All books reviewed by The Ink Puddle are books purchased by the reviewer unless otherwise noted. There is no payment being done, simply a couple of friends enjoying great books. Though we primarily focus on the fantasy and supernatural genre, we are open to just about anything you suggest (with the exception of erotica). Read a good book recently and want our opinion? I've heard that many reviewers have been selling ARCs they've obtained from authors from review requests. I want to reassure all of you that any ARCs you present us with, will not be seen by anyone else other than the person reviewing the book.
When it comes to reviewing part of a series, we will review only if presented with the books leading up to that book in the series. Be aware that this will obviously take more dedicated time, so we ask for your patience.
We reserve the right to turn down any offer, for any reason. Although typically, we don't turn books down unless they don't hit our genre or we feel that our readers won't connect. Some weeks it may take a while to hear back from us, but no matter what we will respond to your request with some form of answer.
Once a month we go through and place every review we've done for the past month up on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Goodreads and if possible, Smashwords. If you don't see your review up right away on those sites, give it some more time, we promise it will get there.
Again, I want to re-enforce that the reason we do this is because it's something we love. There may be four of us behind this blog, but all four of us have jobs, college and families as well. We ask you to please be patient, and if you ever have an issue feel free to contact us.

Our reviews are based strictly off of our own opinions and what we thought about the book. This isn't a job, and this isn't something we've gone to school for; this is something we're doing because we love reading and we love the connection reading can bring between people.

- A rating 1-5, 5 being highest
- Contact and Information about the author
