Amazon Prime: Kindle Lending Service

For all of you Amazon members who have have Prime membership passes, this is for you.

You can now borrow Kindle books for FREE! They currently have around 5,000 to choose from including 100 of that being New York Times Bestsellers. To do this you go through the Kindle Owners Lending Library. There are no due dates, though you are only able to have 1 book out at a time.

Prime Membership costs $79.00 a year. Although if you're a student you can get it at a discounted rate of $39.00 a year here.

I'm officially thinking about getting the service now, although if I were to go with the Kindle Fire this Christmas... I probably would anyway.
What do you guys think?

Hello, Jordan! I saw that service and trying to decide if paying $80 a year is worth it. I'm planning on getting a Kindle Fire myself. Can't wait!

Is there a limit on the number of books per month? If not, I would jump on this!

Amy- From what I understand, the only limit is that you can only have 1 book out at a time and you can only rent 1 book that's brand new a month. As for the rest of the 4,900 books available, it's free game.

Stephanie- Thanks for the follow! I'll be sure to check out your blog. I know I REALLY want the Kindle Fire. And since I'm a student, I'll definitely be checking out Prime.
