For those of you who are dying (like me) to get the Kindle Fire, do you think you'll still use your old Kindle or abandon it forever?
I was talking about this subject last night with my brother and I know where I stand, but I'm curious as to what all of you think!

Although I'm not a kindle user (TEAM NOOK FOR LIFE! or at least for now lol) I think it would be cool if they allowed those that already have an older kindle to trade them in and get a discounted price on the newer ones if they want to. That away they can dispose of the old ones properly and give back to those that have stuck with them for a few years now.

Here in the UK, we're just getting the new basic Kindle, so I won't be upgrading (or rather downgrading) from my 3G Kindle I've had just over a year.
Rather annoyingly, Amazon UK are not calling my 3G Kindle the "Kindle Keyboard", urgh!
I think that's a fantastic idea M. Too bad I don't see that happening...
Nikki- Yeah, I noticed that my Kindle went from K3 to the "Kindle Keyboard" as well. And as cool as these upgrades are, I'm pretty sure I'd still carry what I have around everywhere. Afterall, you can't beat the no glare, 3G simplicity. Or the battery life comparison of 2 weeks to 8 hours on the Kindle Fire.
Ultimately, I'm a bit iffy about the Kindle Fire, I mean, if I want a tablet, shouldn't I just buy a tablet? Knowing that Amazon Prime's video/ TV instant system is nowhere near as awesome as Netflix, why not buy something that I can do everything on?
I'll definitely let people know when I make my person decision.
